This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Seaside Vacation" from 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim, is the ending theme for a PHENOMENAL video game I was introduced to thanks to Let's Player NicoB and that I recently finished. Not only is the whole game's soundtrack fantastic (with the English translation of this song's lyrics being quite appropriate given a recent holiday), but the story and gameplay are just so engaging and enjoyable. If you own a PS4 or PS5, I IMPLORE you to get yourself a copy as soon as possible and experience this masterpiece for yourself. You will NOT regret it!

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Awakening Interval" from AI: The Somnium Files, is a piece from a great game I finished recently. It's not the most upbeat song, but I still find it to be one of many rather effective entries from the game's phenomenal soundtrack.

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "I'm Celebrating Hanukkah in Santa Monica" by Tom Lehrer, is one shared in the spirit of the ongoing holiday...and also in honor of my relatives in California. We may be apart right now thanks to current events, but I look forward to the day we can all celebrate this festival of lights together again under the same roof.

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Purple Haze" by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, is in honor of a fantastic light novel I recently had the pleasure of experiencing via a fan-made audiobook on YouTube. But regardless of whether you're a fan of The Jimi Hendrix Experience, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, or just good music, I hope you all enjoy this wonderful song!

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Fantastic Horror" from Pokémon Snap is a deleted song from a game I immensely enjoyed as a child. And between said game finally getting a sequel officially announced and a certain upcoming holiday, it just felt appropriate to share what we could have experienced properly had there been more than three Ghost-types in the first generation of Pokémon. Regardless, I hope you all enjoy this song as much as I do! 

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "10 Minutes Before Closing" from Animal Crossing, is one that I intended to share last week, given how both the tone of the track and a specific aspect of the game it originates from felt particularly relevant to some of what I've been experiencing as of late. This week's Tune for Tuesday, "My Shot" from Hamilton, is one from a play that while I have yet to watch in person (unlike some infuriatingly lucky friends and family members), that I have listened to the soundtrack for multiple times and finally got to witness a production of through Dinsey+ this past weekend. Let's all rise up against tyranny!

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Lock Me Up" by The Chalkeaters, is one that is an incredibly clever number inspired by what's been occurring for the past few months, overflowing with brilliant video game references and subtle commentary on mental health. Please take a listen and see what you can pick up on. I know I'm picking up on more and more every time I check it out!

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Rivers in the Desert" as covered by Lollia and Sleeping Forest, is a great cover of an already fantastic song, originating from a wonderful game whose themes are just as prevalent now, if not more so, as when the original version of said game was first released. Let's all be like Persona 5's Phantom Thieves of Hearts and stand up to corruption and injustice!
